Sustainability Consideration:
After being bred by the tribes that steward these rivers, steelhead are released into the wild to live out the remains of a natural life cycle. They return to the rivers from whence they hatched to spawn, and are caught with gill nets. Their eggs and milt are harvested and united and the cycle begins again.
